MANUFACTURING / INDUSTRIAL
From preliminary schematic design through final construction, this high tech robotics manufacturing facility was designed and build by Pustola & Associates. The structure was designed for future expansion to accommodate Arcor's expected growth.
Having done the original building design for Petron over 15 years ago, Pustola was asked to design and construct a 9,000 SF addition to this existing facility. The addition matches well with the original structure and house's millions of dollars worth of swiss style CNC lathes.
Pustola & Associates was awarded the contract as Design-Builder for MDI's new 54,860 SF building addition at their corporate headquarters. This project included the removal of 20,000 cubic yards of overburden and 40,000 cubic yards of ledge excavation work that was self performed by Pustola & Associates.
Pustola & Associates completed this 110,000 SF manufacturing facility at Laticretes corporate headquarters. Our in-house sitework division completed all of the excavation work. A 110' high batch manufacturing tower is the centerpiece of the production facility. The building has 10 loading docks with the latest safety equipment. Similar facilities for Laticrete were construction by P&A in Indianapolis, Indiana and Grand Prairie, TX.
New Haven Copper
This pre-engineered mixed use 35,000 SF 2-story addition required an extensive amount of sitework. Included is a 20 foot high perimeter reinforced concrete retaining wall and mandated Town approved exterior building features.
Waterbury Rolling Mills
Pustola & Associates was retained by WRM to provide Architectural, Structural, Process, Civil Engineering and Construction Design/Build services to construct this new 28,000 SF expansion of their existing heavy manufacturing and shipping facility. Unique design/construction concepts included the incorporation of multiple bridge cranes, deep-well submersion pits and an extra reinforced concrete flooring system.
Pustola & Associates was the builder and general contractor for this new 36,000 SF sales and service facility. The building was constructed utilizing a steel structure with a masonry veneer. The sales, service, parts, repair and administrative offices were designed for efficient work flow and interaction among departments
Koster Keunen, a customer for many years and a world leader in processing refining and marketing natural waxes, called upon Pustola & Associates to design and construct a 32,450 SF pre-engineered steel building addition.
From local planning approvals thru turn-key completion, the facility now encompasses its storage and processing needs.
